Arrive overland from Samdrup Jongkhar, south east border town. Guwahati is the nearest airport that connects flight from Delhi and Kolkota. Take a flight to Guwahati from Delhi or Kolkota and drive to Samdrup Jongkhar (110km, 3 hours). Drive to Trashigang and then you will trek to Merak and Sakten. After the trek, we then drive the lateral route to tour eastern, central and western Bhutan. From Paro, you can depart either to India, Bangkok, Bangladesh or Nepal by Drukair.
