What info and what we ask

You can purchase or make a reservation of a trip by contacting our Country Experts either my phone or email after visiting our website. At that time, we will ask you to provide some basic information — such as your name, phone number and country so that we can follow up with you to formulate your itinerary. We may also ask your gender and age for identification purposes. We may also ask for the following additional information in a move to offer an unparalleled level of personalized service

Passport & flight information

We request your flight information in order to help us book your inbound flights or to make necessary synchronisation with your connecting flights. If you have booked inbound flights yourself, this would help us make necessary airport pick-up or drop-off services and also to ensure that you will have adequate time to get to the airport for your departure flight. At the later part of our communication, we request you to send us scanned copy of your recent passport because it is required by our local airlines while booking your flights. It is also required by our local authorities such as Department of Immigration while issuing your Visas and Permits.

Dietary requirements

We try to accommodate if any of our guests have certain dietary needs or restrictions. To accomplish this, we ask your dietary preferences and if you have any is being recorded in your booking file. This information is then transferred to your Bhutan Travelers’ guides, who will in turn contact the various restaurants and hotels to ensure that your requirements are well met. While on trek, your trekking chef is informed in advance to meet your needs.

Physical and health details

Specially while on trek, we need information about your age, gender, height and general health so that we can provide you with the appropriate equipment and ensure your trekking guide prepares himself appropriately.

Personal preferences

We always strive to provide you with the highest level of personal service. Our Tour Directors keep record of any special requests or preferences that you have specified to them at the time of your booking. In turn, this information is passed on to your guides, which enables the guides to meet and provide you with an extra mile services.
